Copenhagen
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is a city full of fun. Surrounded by canals and the sea, the cobbled streets lead not only to beautiful churches, castles,
museums, and palaces but also to a bustling street life amidst the Stroget (Eurpoe’s best pedestrianized shopping area), a fun park, and, more importantly, access
to the wonderful locals who really make this city so inviting. Tourist Information can be obtained at: www.woco.dk.

Explore Copenhagen:
Visit the sights: Rosenborg Castle and Gardens, a 17th century castle housing the Danish crown jewels and other delights; Amalienborg, the Royal Family’s palace;
the Little Mermaid statute, Radhuset (City Hall) with its World Clock and high tower; the Royal Library with its striking black glass building leaning over the harbor;
Christiansborg Palace, with 22 rooms open to the public, displays objects outlining Denmark’s great history and royalty; the National Museum with objects dating
back to the Stone Age; Carlsberg brewery with its free half litre of beer; and Tivoli, the world’s oldest amusement park. Spectacular panoramic views can be had
from either Rundetarn, a 17th century round tower where Peter the Great of Russia supposedly drove a horse and carriage up the inner staircase; or from the
Frederikskirken, a lovely church. When the Royal Family is in residence, catch the changing of the Royal Guards at either Rosenborg Castle 11:30 or at Amalienborg at Noon.
